Shawnee is a beautiful young lady who had motherhood thrust upon her at a very early age. Despite the fact that she herself was very young she is a very good doggie-mom. She was dumped on a busy highway with her two little boys, had an encounter with a skunk defending them and gave of her own health nurturing her beautiful boys.

She is friendly and affectionate and loving. She comes up and asks to be petted with love shining in her beautiful big brown eyes. Shawnee loves people of all ages and sizes and gets along with other dogs.

This little mother obviously loved her two sons very much but now that they are old enough to be on their own (and have found their very own forever homes - yeah!) she is looking forward to enjoying a life of her own. Of course that includes finding a family that will love her and be worthy of her love and loyalty, can your family live up to her expectations? It won't take much, just alot of love and a promise to keep her safe and in return you get to see love and trust glowing back at you from those soulful, beautiful brown eyes and all the loyalty this sweet young lady has to shower you with.

There is just one other thing - like most of these wonderful Big White Dogs our Shawnee is a bit of an explorer wannabe and she would love to explore the world so with that in mind she will need at least a 6' fence to keep her safe and at home.
