Say hello to this handsome young man. Benson is about 1 1/2 years old and has pretty much been given the short end of the stick so far for his short life but all that is going to change now. For starters we are going to give him a birthday of February 9th, after all everyone needs a celebration day.

He is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. He's not pushy but openly welcomes attention. He gets along with all the other dogs here and loves to run around the yard as fast as he can with them but generally avoids getting into a ruckus with any of them. He also loves to come inside and nap on the bed or the couch.

Benson doesn't get into things or chew things up or fight over food. He is just about perfect.

What he would really welcome is a home he can call his very own, where he can settle in and be a family dog.

Benson got his Christmas wish this year, a home of his own with his very own kids!
