This lovely young lady had quite the rough start in life. She and her sister and brother were cast out into the world all alone to fend for themselves. SPIN was alerted to their plight when they were being used for target practice but all of that ugliness is behind them now and her future is as beautiful as she has become.

Invitations for her birthday parties can be dated April 25th (she joined this world 4/25/06). On the very top of her birthday wish list is (no surprise here) a home and family of her very own. How about it people, let's make one sweet little dog's birthday wish come true. In spite of her meager beginning she is ready, willing and able to love and be loved.

Louisa has a quiet demeanor and is happy to sit back and observe a busy group. She is not a shy girl when it comes to 4-leggers and gets along well with dogs of any size, however she will back off from big dogs that play too rough - after all she is a L-A-D-Y. She is ok with cats, currently lives with two in her foster home.

Now let's talk about the things that Louisa loves! She loves to shred toilet paper, paper towels and magazines. She loves to explore cupboards and drawers. She loves doggy treats. She loves rawhides. She also enjoys being a bit of a petty thief and items that are precariously perched within her reach on counters are fair game as far as Louisa is concerned.

Now we are not exactly going to label Louisa "special needs" but she is indeed "special" and her needs are too. Sadly she is very frightened of people she doesn't know. She will accept women after she knows they will not hurt her but men and children seem to trigger some deep-seated bad memories and she becomes very nervous around them. She becomes VERY attached to "her" person and really does not want to share herself with anyone else. She doesn't like to ! tra! vel a nd would be most contented to live at home with "her" person. With "her" person she is very, very affectionate and literally will soak up all the love you can give. This little girl deserves the very best. She has no physical special needs but her past seems to come back to haunt her. So if you are looking for a loyal, devoted, loving, one-on-one "special" friend ~ well Louisa is your gal.
