Duke is a 2 year old, high energy boy with the heart of a true gentle giant that isn't so giant in size.

No one spent any time with this young guy during his first 2 years in this world and he was kept confined to a crate for a long time. He has mastered walking on leash and will sit on command for a treat.

He gets along with other dogs that he likes but will nip at those he doesn't - dogs are much like people in the respect that they can tend to favor the company of some dogs over others. He will need a fenced yard to run in and would love to have someone who likes to play fetch or jog.

So if your mind is thinking "big white dog" but your accommodations are telling you to be thinking "smaller white dog" then Duke is a perfect match for you.

Our boy has also surprised us here in his foster home, recently after a bout of fireworks some of our sheep jumped fence and got out of their enclosure. Without any prompting our Duke went to work herding and pushing them back into their pen. What a special boy!
