You will never believe what I've been through in just 6 or 8 short years! First, let me say that things are definitely looking up: I've got my health, I've been to a spa, had my hair done, and I'm training for the world championship eating contest, so I've packed on some pounds. But not so long ago, I got myself into a giant mess. It all started when I got lost and while I was wandering around, all of a sudden, Kaboom! Great balls of fire, a bullet in one hip and buckshot in the other. Clearly I had gone the wrong way. Now I was lost and couldn't walk, and soon to be starving, and very lonely. But the kind of friends who came to dinner were not what I had in mind. As if it weren't bad enough, ear mites! and the dinner was me! Thank goodness at this point my guardian angel stepped in and found me. The vet gave me medicine and in only four days I was getting around without even a limp. I realized I have a talent for eating and have been training for the championships ever since, and those stubborn mites are on my last nerve, but they are almost gone. I would have to say that in spite of all that, I am looking fabulous and feeling almost as good. They had me down for a minute, but they didn't break my heart and I still love people. I just need a forever home where I can kick back and relax in the safety of a big pillow and nap till my next meal.
