About Lacey

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 175
  • Housetrained: Yes
This young girl was chained most of her first year. Lacey is a beautiful, playful and affectionate youngster. She is high energy and would do well in a home with another friendly dog to play with and plenty of human attention. Due to past experiences, she needs a private dining area indoors and has some interesting eating habits (her foster mom can make more suggestions). She is initially cautious when meeting others and does not jump up on people. However she quickly forged a strong friendship with a Pyr twice her size and will jump right in the middle of a fight to defend him. She demands to be included in all family activities. We don?t know about children, but she does not seem interested in cats. She is housebroken but we are working on other in-the-house manners and basic obedience. Most of all, she needs to be a cherished member of a family. She is still showing puppy behavior which is normal for a slow maturing larger dog. She will bark when outside at night.

Every dog who is adopted thru the SPIN program is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed or neutered, heartworm negative and on preventative. Please fill out an Adoption Application today.
