My name is Lily. I'm a 6 months old, purebred (AKC papers) Great Pyrenees female. To see me in person is to fall in love with me. At least that's what my foster mom says.
I LOVE balls and frisbees, and am pretty good about bringing them back. My biggest accomplishment so far is being potty trained!!!! I'll whine at the door to be let out. My former family and I lived in Louisiana, but we were displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Fortunately, we got out before the storm, but they were forced to surrender me and my brother to SPIN.
It takes me a while to warm up to strange noises, people, and animals. Can you blame me? Ever since I was separated from my brother, I've been a little nervous. I would probably do best in a home with a dominate, male dog. (I don't like female competition. My foster mom says that she can relate.) I don't know about kids. They seem alright...but the little ones scare me a bit. My foster mom says that maybe I should go to a family who has older children.
Every dog who is adopted thru the SPIN program is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed or neutered, heartworm negative and on preventative. Please fill out an Adoption Application today.
