Cleo is fun loving and happy. She is very energetic and loves to play. She is also quite a little lady. She is so proper and dainty in her stance. She loves to pose so picture taking should be a joy for her forever family.

She learns quickly, mostly because she is so unbelievably eager to please. A "praise-based" training method will be the most effective way to train Cleo. She loves a food treat now and then but actually responds far better to praise. She will perform an act over and over again just so she can repeatedly receive a vigorous pet and a hearty "Good Girl!!" from her person. The hardest thing about training Cleo is that you can look into her eyes and see her heart break when you scold her. It'll break your heart, too.

Cleo is house-trained. She can and does use a doggie door, however, she doesn't like it. She prefers to just go to the "people" door and be let out.

Cleo is very protective of her surroundings. She will make a fabulous guard dog. She does not bark excessively or often, however, she will definitely let you know if someone/something has invaded her territory.

She loves children. Being a puppy, she still tries to play just a little rough but with praise based training, she will very quickly learn proper play with children.

Cleo gets along well with other dogs except at feeding time. She is food agressive so she will need her own dining area.

Cleo is a wonderful, wonderful girl. She will love your family with all of her heart. All she asks is to be loved in return with all of your hearts.
