Axel is a 2 1/2 year old gentle giant who simply loves everyone. He has no prejudices - two-legged, four-legged, cats, dogs, kids - he loves them all. He is happy spending his time playing with his foster brothers and sisters, out in the yard running like the wind and occasionally stopping to bark at it, the wind that is.

8/17/06 a letter from a very happy dog. Dear former Mommas: Just checking in to let you know.... 1/my name is officially Rascal (close enough to Axel to keep me happy. 2/I am appropriately named - new Momma says I am a stinker, but she smiles when she says it. 3/I have a banana fetish - in bunches and in muffins. 4/I love to help my new momma paper recycle, one popcorn bag at a time. 5/I think juice pouches are fun to tear up and fling aroung, especially when they are red juices. 6/swimming at the lake is fun 7/new Momma lets me sleep in the big middle of her bed, on my back, with no room for her. 8/I get to go to work with Momma every day because I am a VIP - very important pup. 9/the dog park at White Rock Lake is my favorite place in the world. 10/my new dog siblings love me, we all lick each other and cuddle in the mornings. 11/cats are fun to chase but I don't hurt them. 12/I miss you guys, but I am really happy in my new home - the world revolves around ME.
