Hi! My name is Rufus! My life so far has been a big adventure, with the best part being when I hooked up with two other big, white Pyrenees running around lose like I was. Some kind person rescued us, and even though I am not a whole Pyrenees, the group that kindly took in the two Pyrenees just couldn’t turn me away! So, lucky, lucky me! My foster mom says that I am about the happiest, sweetest, most content dog she has ever seen. I am still very much in my puppy stage, and my exuberance and enthusiasm can sometimes get me into trouble jumping on people when I first meet them, but I am working hard on being on my best behavior at all times.

I am currently living outside with my fellow foster friends and I get along great with everybody. I can be a tiny bit food aggressive to my friends at feeding time, but not so much that I have ever had to be separated or anything like that. I just like to run from bowl to bowl to bowl, eating out of every one and not letting anyone else eat until I am full. Since I have been living outside for awhile, I might need to be reminded about house-breaking, but I think I will remember quickly what it is like to be a house dog!

My foster mom asked me what kind of family I would like to have and I told her I would love a family with kids and other dogs to run and play with me, where I could be kept indoors and outdoors, and maybe sleep inside at night, so I could be a complete member of the family. She says that my special forever family will find me and that I just need to be patient. Are you my forever family?

UPDATE: It was love at first sight for Rufus and his new family!
