Benji is a recliner size lap Pyr who loves to snuggle. At only 60# he is just the right size to keep you warm and cozy in the wintertime.

Benji has a wonderful Pyr attitude where he never meets a stranger. He loves to play and is full of energy. He also gets along quite well with cats and other dogs. He is the perfect boy for someone who is looking for a companion dog who is wonderful with children. Benji will tolerate lots of hugging and poking, and will give lots of attention back.

Benji has been described as a "Lovemuffin". Recently his foster mom did not attend to the 4 month old baby quickly enough to suit him, so he went to her room and woke her up to tell her the baby was crying. Benji is truly a special boy.

Benji is fully housetrained and knows basic obedience commands (sit and stay) and is eager to please. (Don't you love his grin!)

Benji's birthday is estimated to be about September of '02.

UPDATE: Benji's foster family decided on an early Christmas gift for all of them and Benji is there to stay!
