This pup is so sweet and smart! She has learned many things in the last month. She is officially fully house trained. She sleeps all night either in the crate or on her dog bed. She has learned that we don’t chew on shoes. She listens well when told “no” and she knows to go sit “in her spot” when it’s feeding time. She walks very well on the leash!
She is still learning to not jump when she is excited. Although, her jumps are gentle right now. She just wants a hug.
I would say she is very good with cats! She wants to play with our cat and doesn’t chase or pounce at him, but is also terrified of him because he gave her a whack one day when she got too close.
She is also very good with kids. She will play a little more roughly with my teenagers, but plays very gently with my 7-yr-old. She is completely unphased when little kids get in her face or pet her roughly. She just smiles and lays back for more pets.
I think she would love a home that has another playful dog who doesn’t mind their personal space infringed upon. She loves cuddles!
Our old dog will give in and play with her for a minute, then he’s all done. She is still submissive to his corrections, but is starting to talk back to him.
She is an absolute treasure!
