Meet Macy! She is as sweet as they come! Born around January 2023, she sports an all-white coat and an extraordinary big fluffy tail. She weighs a healthy 85 pounds.
Macy lived on the streets for several months before we could catch her. She was filthy, terrified, and starving. Over the course of the next few months, she learned how to walk beautifully on a leash, how to have fun with her foster siblings, and how to love every person she meets.
She has come such a long way and is a gorgeous, confident, loving girl. She has learned to stand perfectly for her baths and grooming and is stunning after a bath!
Macy loves her naps and her playtime too. She can sleep all day inside or she can play all day outside! She has a well-balanced temperament, knowing when to calm down and when she can play.
But what she loves the most is to be as close to her people as she can get and stay there as long as you will let her. Sometimes she will simply come to you and lay her head on your lap.
She absolutely loves people. All people. She is the type of dog that you can take anywhere, and she loves to meet new people. Ever sweet and gentle, she is pure love!
She will sniff babies and then want to lay on the floor with them. She would be a great fit for a senior person also, because she is so gentle and not too playful when she is inside the home. She would rather sleep at your feet all day, or better yet, in your lap!
Taking her on long walks or for a ride to the pet store are her favorites too! She knows “sit” and will sit beautifully for her treats.
Macy would live nicely with other nice big dogs. She enjoys getting outside to run and play with her big furry foster siblings. She has met one small dog, and only sniffed her, barked at her, and wasn’t interested in playing with her.
While Macy loves her foster siblings, we believe she would be fine as an only dog because of her love of people. Whoever is invited into her home, she will instantly want pets and to lean on them.
Macy is not fond of the crate and she doesn’t need one, because she is housebroken and a perfect young lady when you leave her at home.
The only time she seems to bark is when a car pulls into her driveway.
If you are looking for a complete love sponge to snuggle with, Macy is your girl!
