Named for Princess Elsa from Disney’s “Frozen” movie, our happy girl was born around January 2023 and weighs around 75-80 pounds.  Prior to rescue, she was found running along a busy highway.  Luckily a Good Samaritan stopped and got her to safety.

Elsa’s favorite place is chilling with her people.  She gently puts her paw on you when she wants your attention.  She is always respectful of her humans.  All she wants to do is please you.

She feels comfortable with other dogs after taking a few minutes getting to know them.  If she has a doggy friend in her forever home, they should be big enough and young enough to play with her.  Her current furry foster siblings don’t like to play with her because she is so big and strong.

She would probably do fine as an only dog as long as she gets lots of quality time with her people.  We don’t know how she is with cats, but can find out if needed.

Elsa is house trained, rides well in a car, and is working on leash training.  She doesn’t bark much.

Enticed with a treat, she easily goes into her crate in her foster mom’s bedroom and doesn’t make a peep all night.  She has mild resource guarding, so foster mom is training her out of that.

She is mostly laid-back while also being athletic and strong.  Since she can be rambunctious and jumpy when she is excited, children in the home should be old enough that they won’t accidentally be knocked over.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
