Madelyn is very friendly and loves to be near her people. Extraordinarily beautiful, she is around two years old. She is a little bitty thing! She’s small for a Pyr and weighs around 55 pounds.
Madelyn came to us from a local animal shelter. She appears to have been well-loved in her previous home, because she is healthy, well-adjusted, and has a happy disposition. She is fine with kid noise, but not much of a cuddler. She also goes by “Maddie” in her foster home.
Maddie could be fine as an only dog or with a canine companion. She likes to play with all dogs, whether they are large, small, male, or female. If an only dog, she would do best with having someone with her most of the day.
She enjoys spending time indoors as well as exploring the backyard several times a day. She is playful and craves interaction with her people and other dogs.
Maddie is fully house trained. She doesn’t bark very much. She is leash trained, but would love more social walking practice to hone her skills in that area.
She is crate trained, but she doesn’t love it, and has no need to be crated. She rides fine in a car, but needs more experience to realize it’s actually fun.
Madelyn will have you falling in love at first sight! Then her sweet, gentle, silly ways will have you hooked. She will be a wonderful family companion.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
