Meet Xena!  This sweet beauty she has a gentle personality, is quiet and respectful, and has great manners.  Born around February 2019, she weighs 75-80 pounds.

Xena came from a home where she was expected to be a goat dog.  But she doesn’t want to be with goats, she wants to be with people.  So, let’s get her a home where she can be indoors with her family!

All she wants to do is be with you, next to you, touching you, snoring adorably as she sleeps nearby.  She is sweet and gentle with children.  She is a perfect companion.

Xena likes other dogs, and she gets along well with the small and large dogs in her foster home.  However, she tends want her human all to herself; if she is snuggling with her person when another dog comes along, Xena will give a growl to warn off the other dog.  If the dog comes up anyway, she is nice.

Lovely Xena walks well on leash, and she loads easily into a car.  She knows the commands for “sit” and “shake.”

She hasn’t yet barked in her foster home.  When she hears her canine friends barking outside, she’ll go check it out, but she doesn’t join in.

She is ready for her forever home; all she needs is lots of love.
