[Sweet girl, Harmony. She was recently surrendered to us because the owner was traveling a lot and she was spending a LOT (18 hrs a day) of time in her kennel. She is a little over 2 years old and currently vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped. She is scared in this environment and we are super full and really need the cage space.]

[Harmony’s foster mom pulled her from the shelter, here is what she had to say:  "What a well-behaved lady! She knows all the basic commands and is house broken.  She will make someone very happy!!!  Harmony prefers a corner with beanbags and pillows.  She is such a sweet girl!"]

[Foster Update on Harmony, now Sugar: "We’ve been calling this girl Sugar or ”Shug” for short. She’s as sweet as can be, although she’s still very nervous at times. Being outside makes her literally shake. Amazingly, she’s fully potty trained! She goes in the morning and basically holds it the rest of the day, until the evening! I can’t even guess what she’s been through. She likes sitting on the couch with us and giving kisses. She also loves playing with our 22 pound terrier mix. Most of the time she’s sleeping in the bedroom, or in the bedroom closet. At bedtime she sleeps in a crate that we keep open. Since she was in a crate for 18 hours a day at her last house I suppose that’s what she’s used to. She is easy to have around, and we’re happy with how she is starting to blossom in such a short time. Isn’t she adorable?!"]

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
