Meet Mochi!  Nicknamed “Smooches”, this pup was born around January 2022.  She had a Great Pyrenees mom and an Anatolian Shepherd dad.  At sixteen-weeks of age, she weighed 35 pounds and will probably be about 80-90 pounds as an adult.

Mochi is a sweet, happy pup whose nickname reflects her love of giving and receiving kisses.  She’s a lover not a fighter and has never shown any aggression to or fear of other house pets.  Her foster mom feels that Mochi will be great with children too.

Mochi has been living with her brother at her foster family for about three months, and they have been constantly together.  She is ready to thrive in a new home without him, but she will need lots of snuggles and company early on while she adjusts to her new doggy companion.

She already takes her guarding responsibilities seriously and tells the four horses next door to beware!  She will need a firm, loving guiding hand and a playful older dog to continue to teach her proper manners.

She is completely house trained and sleeps overnight in a crate, or outside when it’s nice and cool and she doesn’t want to come in.

It is easy to get her attention for training as she responds very well to treats and play.

She has gotten car sick, and we have not yet tried Dramamine due to her young age, but that could be a good option.

Mochi is going to be an awesome family member!

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
