Meet Titus!  This cuddle bug was born around January 2022.  He had a Great Pyrenees mom and an Anatolian Shepherd dad.  He’ll likely weigh around 100 pounds when he’s all grown up.

Often called "Tidy Whitey" and "Tickle Me Titus,” Titus is a silly, playful pup who loves people.  He likes to greet everyone with a cute growling-howl sound while he wags his tail and comes running.

He seems to prefer being in the company of people rather than dogs.  He loves to snuggle with you and lay in your lap.

Baby Titus loves to play with any dog who is willing.  He has been around and likes large and medium sized dogs of both sexes.  He shares his food with sister but will sometimes growl when any dog approaches while he has a treat.  (He must have a large, playful doggy companion in his forever home.  If you don’t already have a buddy for him, adopt one from us!)

When not playing with other dogs, Titus is content to amuse himself with a toy.

He hasn't had much experience with walking on a leash, but having his big foster brother and sister guide the way keeps him on track.

He is nearly completely house trained.  His foster mom is able to leave the house during the day for a couple of hours, and he does just fine with no potty accidents.

Tidy Whitey was crate trained when he was younger and smaller.  Now that he has outgrown it, he sleeps much better throughout the night while not in a crate.

He rides well in a car.

We haven’t seen him with cats, but we can find out how he does with them if needed.

Since he’s still in his puppy stage, it’s probably best if he is not placed with babies or toddlers.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors.  https://youtu.be/R6N8STRl2aI0

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
