Meet Keeley!  This beauty is a very sweet cuddle bug.  Born around January 2022 to a Great Pyrenees mom and an Anatolian Shepherd dad, she will likely weigh around 90 pounds as an adult.

Baby Keeley enjoys spending time with both humans and dogs.  She has been nice with all two-legged and four-legged creatures she's met.  She loves to cuddle, and she enjoys all the human attention she can get.  You’ll love sinking your fingers into her luxurious, thick, short double coat.

She cutely howls and does an "Awoooo" bark when she's very excited. She does a lot of “Awooo”s when meeting new people or getting let out of her crate in the morning.

Keeley loves all toys, and she likes playing in sprinklers.

She is playful with other dogs.  She must have a large, playful doggy companion in her forever home.  (If you don’t already have one of those, adopt a buddy for her from us!)

Right now, she tries too hard to play with very small dogs, and they could potentially get hurt.  After she outgrows her gangly puppy stage, she will likely be better around the littles.

Keeley is always on alert.  She likes to patrol and check out her territory.  She barks to notify her humans of any changes in the force.  She has a deep and big bark for a puppy.  She would happily guard any home.

Keeley does great on leash.  She is fully crate trained, knows sit, lay down, and leave it.

On car rides, she gets motion sick and has a bit of anxiety.  She lays down and behaves well while drooling and panting.

We haven’t seen her with cats, but she did not bother a house bunny when they were introduced.

Keeley loves people of all ages, but she still jumps up a lot.  For that reason, she might not do well with babies or the very elderly.

Because she alerts to most disturbances around the house and barks at new noises, she is not best suited for apartment living.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors.  https://youtu.be/R6N8STRl2aI0

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
