Meet Pippa! Watch her play gently with a kitten! https://youtu.be/E3qq89Vq8u0 And here she is in slow motion. https://youtu.be/PN0p2mHXPI4
Born around July 2021, this delightful girl weighed 45 pounds at six months of age. When she finishes growing up, she’ll likely weigh around 80 pounds.
Pippa is in every way a happy, healthy, thriving Pyr puppy. She already takes her guarding responsibilities seriously, and regularly tells the neighbor’s horses that they need to stay on their own side of the fence!
She loves children, dogs, and cats. She plays sweetly with her favorite kitten in her foster home. She likes chasing the other cats, and relents when they have had enough.
In her forever home, Pippa must have a big, playful dog to continue to teach her proper manners.
She is completely house trained and sleeps overnight in a crate. She usually pees with excitement when she meets someone new, so we do all our introductions outside!
Pippa is easy to love, and ready for her forever family.
OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.
3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.
Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors. https://youtu.be/R6N8STRl2aI0
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
