Meet Allie!  Born around December 2014, she is an absolute sweetheart!

Allie loves to “give kisses” to any and every person she interacts with!  Not giant slobbery messes, but just tiny little “bloops” to let you know she’s there and wants your attention.  She lives to be by her person’s side, giving kisses and getting pets!

She was a bit “chonky” at 88 pounds when we got her from the shelter.  Her foster mom is helping Allie get closer to a healthier weight around 80 pounds.

Allie is incredibly sweet and loving.  She has low energy with an occasional burst of energy.  She primarily just wants to cuddle with her people and get pets all day long.  She is great with kids and should be fine around toddlers and babies.

She isn’t very playful with other dogs; she would much prefer to snuggle and love on her humans!  Allie would ideally be an only dog.  She could work well with other low-energy animals given some patient introductions.  She mostly just tolerates the presence of cats and other dogs.

Allie is completely house trained.  She is let outside 3-4 times a day and hasn’t had any accidents in her foster home.

She does incredibly well on a leash!  She just wants to stand directly next to you while you walk.

Allie does spectacular in a crate!  She doesn’t need to be locked in one, but she walks in there during the day to rest, and sometimes sleeps in the crate at night. She definitely feels safe there.

Allie enjoys car rides. She’s happy to stick her head out the window as long as you’ll let her; and she doesn’t even drool on the outside of your car, so that’s a huge bonus!  She’ll spend all of the car ride either peering out the window, or kissing the back of her owner’s head!

She likes to bark some when she sees or hears someone outside, or if the other dogs are barking.  She will bark up a storm if she thinks there’s a reason!  But it’s usually when she’s outside, not inside the house.
