OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.
3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Meet Sugar Cookie! She’s a very sweet, happy, loving pup who craves attention. Her DNA test revealed that she is primarily Great Pyrenees and Great Dane!
Sugar is available exclusively to adopters in the Dallas/Fort Worth area due to the delay of her spay until at least October 2021.*
Born on March 31, 2021, Sugar was the tiniest of her litter. She was a wee 1.6 pounds at birth, 23.4 pounds at 12 weeks, and we expect she’ll weigh around 85 pounds when she’s all grown up.
Sugar Cookie is usually called Sug, or Sugabooga in her foster home.
She had a slow start. Being the smallest of the litter, she was pushed out of the food line frequently. While the other pups were packing on the pounds, she lagged behind. She received supplement feedings and got extra Mom time to get her caught up. This is where the spoiling began. Sorry!
Don’t be fooled by her “diminutive” size. While small compared to her littermates, she’s a ball of fire and plays full throttle. She’s a stick of dynamite!
She may be rough and tumble with the other pups, but with people, she’s a cuddle bunny who loves pets, kisses, and snuggling into your lap.
She has a sweet face with a furrowed brow that makes her look worried. Her cute little Dane face has a lot of loose skin to grow in to! She has a beautiful, big brown eyes and a lovely smooth coat.
A typical pup, Sug is sound asleep one minute, then active, playing, and running the next!
She enjoys being outside sunning herself on the patio or rolling in the yard in a shady spot.
This quiet pumpkin is in the process of house training. She rides nicely in a car. She is nice to children and cats.
*Medical note: Sugar Cookie was born with a mild genetic condition that necessitates her spay being delayed until she is least six-months old. This time will allow her body and hormones time to correct the situation naturally. As she grows, she will be on supplements and sanitizing wipes to help avoid urinary tract infections. She is already showing signs of improvement to her veterinary staff and foster family. It is expected that she will have a normal, happy, healthy life.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
