OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Meet Truffle!  Cupid booped her right on the nose!  Her nose is so kissable and boopable!  The heart shape shows you right where to kiss her.

Truffle is available exclusively to adopters in the Dallas/Fort Worth area due to the delay of her spay until at least October 2021.*

Truffle is a beautiful girl born on March 31, 2021 weighing in at a whole 1.9 pounds!  She’s the first of eight and is the tallest of her siblings.  She’s a typical first born, as she is the boss!

Her DNA test revealed that she is a wonderful blend of primarily Great Pyrenees and Great Dane!  Her expected adult weight is a huge 125 pounds!

Truffie is a beautiful merle with white collar and legs.  Her mink coat is long and incredibly soft. She doesn’t mind if you’re tempted to pet her a little longer than the others!  She’s a loving, sweet pup who leans against you and looks up at you with her big loving eyes.

Truffle has a lot of Pyr personality.  She knows her name and comes when called…when she wants.  She’s very friendly and active, however, she steps back to observe new people in the house and decides if she wants to get involved.

Truffle is a dominant female and must be placed in a home with a large, playful canine companion.  She would do best with a male dog.

Truffle enjoys playing in water that is running from a hose in a kiddy pool.  She also loves to jump into the big people pool and play on the tanning shelf.  She jumps in, tromps around splashing, jumps out, runs around the garden and slips on the patio, then back in to splash more!  She has not entered the depth of the pool on her own, but is calm about swimming with her foster humans’ help.

Now and again, Truffle’s name comes out Trouble!  She’s just a spunky, rowdy girl who likes to get the other pups wound up.  She’s not actually troublesome though.   She’s a total sweetheart that wants to please and snuggle.

Truffle is going to be a big beautiful girl as she grows!  You’ve got to meet her to see just how wonderful she is!

*Medical note:  Truffle was born with a gene mutation of the vulva, causing it to be more pronounced.  Her spay will be delayed until at least 6 months to allow her body and hormones to correct this issue.  It is expected that she will grow into her body and have a happy, healthy life.  As she grows, she will be on supplements and sanitizing wipes to help avoid urinary tract infections.  Truffle is already showing signs of improvement to her veterinary staff and foster family.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
