Meet Ivy! This little hazel-eyed beauty was born around May 2018. She is healthy and fit at her current weight of 64 pounds. Her coat is filling in nicely as she continues receiving wonderful care in her foster home.
Ivy is friendly, sweet, outgoing, and curious. She relishes getting attention from people! She sometimes pushes between her furry friends and her foster people as if to say, “No, pet me. I’m cuter.”
When you rub behind her ears, she really leans in, starts groaning, then gives you this, “Oh, how I love you” look with her gorgeous, soulful eyes.
Ivy is mild-mannered with her humans. When it comes to other dogs, she gets all revved up to play! Sometimes she gets the zoomies, she’s so excited.
She would be happiest living in a home that has other large, playful dogs that will engage with her and enjoy just hanging out with her. She just doesn’t like when they jump on her.
She should be watched carefully around small dogs, because she gets so happy that she doesn’t pay attention to where her relatively big feet are landing during playtime.
Ivy likes playing with toys and even shares them nicely with her doggy pals.
She is house trained, leash trained, crate trained, and rides nicely in a car. She barks infrequently.
She is indifferent to cats. She’ll give them a sniff, and that’s about it.
Ivy will do best in a one-story home where she doesn’t have to negotiate many stairs.
She will be the sweetest addition to her forever family.
