Meet Petra! She is such a nice, pretty girl. And big! She weighs a whopping 97 pounds! She has huge paws and double dew claws. She was born around January 2018.
You should hear her bark! She has the biggest bark ever, and it’s the loveliest bass tone – really, really low. She makes all the other dogs in the neighborhood sound like sopranos!
Magnificent Petra likes people, and she seems to especially love men. She is good with other dogs.
She is very well-behaved and has good house manners. She is house broken and has no need for a crate. She is somewhat leash trained.
Petra is not yet used to car rides, so she must be lifted into one. The easiest way is to lift her front paws in, then give her a booty boost to get the rest of her loaded.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
