Meet Gomez! Watch him cutely prance with his prize bone as he searches for its perfect hiding place. https://youtu.be/jnSdymVIoMk
Gomez is a true romantic, affectionate, and has a healthy appetite for life. Born around June 2017, his ideal weight is around 100 pounds of gorgeous fluffiness.
Gomez (as in the Addams family) was found as a super-skinny stray. He quickly showed his big, happy smile. He doesn’t jump on people, and is well-mannered in the house. He is pretty mellow for the most part. He can be a little goofy sometimes, but usually displays his mature side.
He is so cuddly! He loves getting attention and lots of petting. He adores interacting with his people. He is good with kids. He is happy to meet and be hugged by every single child he meets.
He is enjoying learning how to play with other dogs, and he has been having fun playing with his new furry friends in his foster home. He gets along nicely with all of them – male, female, large, medium, small. They are teaching him that toys are fun!
He could be happy in a forever home with other dogs that he likes. He could also be happy as an only dog in the right home.
He loves to run! He hopes for a family that will keep him engaged in their lives and understands that he is sometimes lazy, and sometimes gets bursts of energy.
He needs a sturdy six-foot fence. Sometimes he gets excited about something he hears or sees on the other side, and he digs to get out. A wooden fence might be best, but it definitely needs to be 6’ with a latch he can’t open.
He is an avid barker! He warns you of possible intruders for days after they have gone – even if the interloper was just a dog he didn’t want to be there! He will continually remind folks working next door that there is no trespassing on his property.
Gomez is house trained, crate trained, and rides nicely in a car. He walks really well on-leash. He is not much of a barker, only warning sometimes at things he can see on the other side of the fence.
Gomez should not be placed in a home with cats.
