Meet Jill!  Born around 11/01/2016, this girl is just so darn sweet!  She’s a heart breaker, a true treasure.

Jill lived the first part of her life as a working dog, guarding chickens.  She was mostly outside roaming freely, and came indoors during inclement weather.  Her owners have fallen into poor health and can no longer care for their beloved girl.

Upon first coming into foster care, Jill was already relaxed and content.  She was super calm and gentle, spent most her time with napping near her new caretakers. She warmed up a lot just in one night.

She learned that she loves being an inside dog!  She would go outside to potty, then sprint tail wagging to the back door to go back inside.
 
When visitors are greeted at the door, Jill lays down the entire time, standing up only when they come to say hi to her.  Then she is all tail wags and happiness, greeting everyone gently.  This is quickly followed by a nap in the middle of where everyone is congregated.

It seems that her favorite being in the world is human beings!  She has found her calling.

She has great house manners.  She is house trained, great on a leash, does great in the car after you help her into it.  She has never needed a crate; she just looked too precious and innocent sleeping on her first night in foster care, so her foster family let her be, and she was an angel.  She was so content that she didn’t even want to get up the next morning when it was time to go outside to potty.

Jill loves treats and is very food driven.

She has a history of being great with big and small dogs, cats, chickens, cows, and children.

Jill is going to be a super loyal, loving, smart family dog.
