OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors.  https://youtu.be/R6N8STRl2aI

Introducing the sweetest little pumpkin - Daisy! She’s a happy and sunshine-y girl that just makes you want to smile and then cover her in kisses.

Daisy was born on March 25, 2020.  She came into rescue with her two sisters, and it was discovered that she had a very small fracture on one of her back legs. She was seen by our orthopedic vet and he recommended rest, love, and some good groceries.  Puppies this young heal quickly and usually without any long-term effects. And that’s just what Daisy has done.  She is fully healed and ready to meet her family!

At 7 months old Daisy is a sweet, loving, and happy girl who loves people and other dogs. She loves being inside with a nice soft bed and with people who want to give her all the attention she can stand. She also is happy to romp and play with other dogs in the backyard. She does not like being alone in the backyard.

Daisy is crate trained (although she will protest for a minute or two) and is (99 percent) housebroken.  She rides well in a car.  She loves playing with hard toys such as Kongs or hard teething toys.  Soft/plush toys are not recommended.  She’s getting used to walking on leash and doing well. She walks better when walking with another dog to mimic.

Daisy is a confident happy dog that will go boldly into new situations. She’s in a foster home with three other dogs, three cats, and two kids, and is extremely playful and loving. She gets along with everyone she encounters (humans and animals).

Daisy must have a large, playful canine companion in her forever home. If you don’t already have a suitable companion for her, adopt one from us!  This buddy will be key to helping her continue growing into a wonderful, delightful family member.

Daisy is obedient, but a bit mischievous. She has discovered dish towels and is learning that dish towels are not toys.  She responds well to “no” and is learning quickly.

Daisy has a medium length, wavy Pyrenees coat hiding her tiny frame.  At 7 months old, she is just 35 pounds and will likely be 60-70 pounds full grown (that’s downright tiny for a Pyr).  She is very quiet and only barks when she hears other dogs barking in the backyard.

Daisy is excited to meet her furever family. Could that be you?  If you think you’d like to meet Daisy please see the info below.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
