Meet the Spice Girls youngest member - Pepper!

She’s the spunkiest member of the group, with luscious long locks of white and blond fur.  She sports a beautiful extra-long thick coat and heavy curled tail.  She’s a diva!  Well, a silly diva who loves to sing in the rain and roll in the dark mulch of a garden!

She’s the alto of the group, but doesn’t show off her range too often.

Talk about dance moves!  This girl has got it goin’ on!  Throw her a treat and stand back, because the jumping and dancing will astound the crowd!  She’s a show stopper with plans to soar to the top of the charts!

Born on March 25, 2020, she weighed 56 pounds and 9-months of age.  She is going stay on the small side, likely weighing around 65 pounds when fully grown. Pepper Pocket Pyr!

She came to rescue with her siblings after we were contacted by a kind woman who took their mother in as a stray, and quickly learned she had 8 little surprises!  Pepper is the leader of the pack and is not shy to tell her sisters to stay in their lane.

Pepper Pupper is very playful and loves attention.  She comes to snuggle and gives very sweet nose boops as well as staring into your eyes with her big brown loving eyes.  Then, quickly back to play!

She has been kid tested and approved.  She spent a few months in a home with children aged 1, 4, and 10, and she was great with all of them.  Parents of tiny tykes need be aware that this breed is not aware they are large, and have a tendency to knock little ones down and paw at them.

Likewise, mature adults should be aware of the Pyrenees personality and their tendency to paw at their loved one; and they think they should sit in your lap!

Pepper is gentle with her toys.  She loves chew toys, such as Nylabones and Kongs.
She is very obedient and responds quickly to being told “no.”

She is house trained, although you need to keep an eye on her as she is not very demanding about asking to go out.  She is being bell trained, but forgets they’re for communicating, not just making music!

She is also kennel trained, but it is not needed while out on a short errand.  She sleeps in her kennel at night in her foster home, mostly so the foster parents can get some sleep!  Otherwise, she and the other foster pups would be up rehearsing the next gig!

Pepper has been around large and small dogs, and does better with medium to large.  She’s a bit too pushy with the little guys.  She seems to be under the impression they’re just very active plush toys!  She must have a large, playful doggy companion in her forever home.

She has also been around cats.  While she’s curious, she’s not aggressive in the least.  Cats are divas too, after all.

If you’re looking for a tender hearted, loving, flibberty gibbet to join your family, look no further.  This pup is seriously a gem!

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
