OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Meet Posey!  She’s wondering if she can come over and play?

Born on March 25, 2020, Posey is a sweet and spunky girl who came into rescue along with her two sisters.  She quickly became accustomed to being inside with a nice soft bed and people who want to give her all the attention she can stand.

She easily crate trained and is housebroken.  She’s working on basic commands and is a very obedient pup.  She’s not so crazy about a car ride.  She’s a very good passenger, unfortunately, she drools heavily.  Poor kid!  She’s getting used to walking on leash and doing very well.  She’ll have that down in no time.

Posey is a little skittish in new situations, but she warms up very quickly.  She’s in a foster home with three other dogs and is extremely playful and loving.  She must have a large, playful canine companion in her forever home.  If you don’t already have a suitable companion for her, adopt one from us!  This buddy will be key to helping her continue growing into a wonderful, delightful family member.

Posey is very gentle and submissive.  Her long, thick, wavy Pyrenees coat hides a dainty, loving pup.  With all that sweet puppy goodness, she is still a typical Pyr.  She’s excellent at ignoring you when you call, standing right in front of you when you’re walking, nose boops, putting her paw on you to keep you petting her, barking at a dust particle as it floats through the air and sleeping in the middle of the kitchen floor.

Posey is a slim 44 pounds and has a lot of dinners to catch up with.  She’s going to grow into an elegant 80- to 100-pound glamour queen with long flowing locks.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
