Meet Martie!  This dazzling beauty was born on September 27, 2017.  She weighs around 88 pounds.

Sweet Martie is loyal, affectionate, and loving.  She will follow you everywhere!  Belly rubs are her favorite.  When you walk past her, she will flop herself onto the ground so you can rub her belly.

When you sit on the couch, she will come and put her head on your lap for pets; if you stop petting her, she sits and gives you the Pyr paw.  She is very adept at giving the Pyr paw!

She loves children and does well with toddlers.  She will sit right next to kids so they can pet her.

Miss Martie is quite well-mannered in social situations, whether walking in the neighborhood, dining at a pet-friendly restaurant, shopping at a hardware store, or anywhere else.  She happily observes the action and watches for any direction you want to give her.

Even in the midst of a crazy thunder storm, she is nurturing to those around her.  If other dogs in the house are nervous with storms, she will lay really close to them like she’s protecting them.  After the storm has passes, she will walk with you and help you assess damage to the yard.

She is good with dogs of all sizes, and she loves playing with them!  To be fully happy, she needs a large, playful doggy companion in her forever home.  If you don’t already have a suitable furry friend for her, adopt one from us!

Martie Lue is even affectionate with cats!

She is a water dog!  She will jump right into the pool with you.  She even enjoys being bathed!
 
She is very smart.  She will do anything for peanut butter!  She knows commands for sit, down, stay, and wait.  She stays away from the kitchen when you cook.   She is fully house trained and crate trained.

She walks well on a leash and loves going for walks.  She will walk right beside you and not pull the leash.  She rides well in the car and loves going for car rides.

Martie was obviously very well loved throughout her life.  Now she’s looking for an equally loving family to continue her journey.
