Meet Sammy!  This chill dude was born around June 2013.  He is a big boy at 107 pounds!  Who can resist those deep, dark, brown eyes?

Sammy is the most laid-back Pyr you’ve ever seen.  He just goes with the flow and wants to be loved on occasionally.  He would be excellent for a slower-paced family that’s looking to decorate with a live, warm rug (tranquil Pyr!) that shifts to different rooms throughout the day.

He sleeps most of the time, but then randomly gets bursts of energy and plays for five minutes.  During playtime, he might alert you to security threats like birds, planes, and pesky squirrels; then he’s ready to rest again.

He is friendly to everyone.  We haven’t introduced him to kids yet, but since he’s so tolerant of everything, we think he would be fine with them, too.  He probably shouldn’t live with babies or toddlers though, because he could easily and unintentionally knock them over with his big ol’ booty.

Sammy needs a doggy companion in his forever home.  He would be bored to tears without one.  He loves romping with other gentle giants and gets along great with male and female dogs.  He is even fine living with cats!

Mr. Serene is fully house trained and has no need for a crate.  He rides nicely in a car.  He needs a few more leash lessons.

This easy-going boy is waiting to bring joy to his new forever family.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
