Meet Allen Wrench!  He will steal your heart!  Born around April 2019 and currently underweight at 58 pounds, he is on the smaller side.  His ideal weight is closer to 70-80 pounds, so he’s getting lots of extra yummy vittles in his foster home to fatten him up.

Allen is a friendly, happy-go-lucky boy who is very watchful of his surroundings.  He loves people and plays with them.  On car rides, he will sweetly hug you by resting his head on your shoulder.

This silly pumpkin is great at entertaining himself.  He comically rubs his sides down the wall and across the floor!

He loves playing in sprinklers and he loves the water hose!  When you get out the hose to water plants, he gets so excited!  And at bath time, he will walk right into the shower and sit down!

He likes playing with other dogs.  He likes those that are close to his size, and he is respectful of them if they sass him.  He does well with smaller dogs as long as they have good manners with him.  In his foster home, he tolerates the sweet small dog cleaning his teeth, gums, and ears, and shares toys with him.  And when he gets tired of the little dog, he ambles away and gets his own toy.

He is great with puppies, giving them sweet, loving kisses.  If he lives with a small dog or a cat, they should be the happy-go-lucky type, because he gets grumpy when smaller creatures get sassy with him.

He is quick enough to catch a bird!  He should not be put in a home with chickens.

He might be okay as only dog if he often has interaction and play time with other dogs.

Allen listens better than most Pyrs, but has a short attention span.  He is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained.  He doesn’t bark during play, really just when he sees interesting things on the other side of the fence or window.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
