Meet Christian! In this quick video https://youtu.be/wjWHLTkAEz4, he is the playful pup at the top of the frame, playing lazily on his dog bed, and politely asking his foster friend to play.
This sweet, gorgeous boy was born around August 2018, and is fully grown at 108 pounds! We think he might be mixed with St. Bernard, because of his lovely, big, St. Bernard shaped head, his enormous size, and his wonderful markings.
Big Christian likes a nice head scratch from his humans. He is loves kids, but may be too large and clumsy for smaller children.
He is a friendly, playful dog who loves being outside. He loves playing with toys and with all types of dogs. He needs a big, playful doggy companion in his forever home. He may be too large for smaller dogs. If you don’t already have a suitable furry companion for him, you can adopt a buddy for him from us!
Christian plays a little bit on the rambunctious side, and he is so goofy! Once he gets all of his play energy out, he is pretty chill and comes in the house. He will jump on the couch for a nice nap before getting up to romp outside again.
He is learning polite leash manners and is practicing crate training. He is learning to redirect his enthusiasm and not jump up when he says hello. Like most Pyrenees, he does not know he is not a small lap dog!
This adorable, gentle giant will be an amazing addition to any family that doesn't have housecats.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
