OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors.  https://youtu.be/3aoG4Ia_9P0

Meet Winnie!  Born around May 2019, this super sweet, goofy puppy has adorable floppy ears and the softest fur.  At eight months of age, she weighed 57 pounds.  She will probably be a solid 80 pounds after she finishes growing.

Her DNA test (sponsored by her loving foster mom) revealed that Winnie is 87.5% Great Pyrenees and 12.5% Herding/Companion group.  The Wisdom Panel results can be provided to her forever family.

Winnie gives a cute little snort when she is happy to see you or thinks you have treats!  She is extremely food motivated.  She really loves her snacks!

Winnie loves kids and is very gentle with them.  She sweetly lies next to them as they are reading.

Winnie loves romping around outside with her dog friends, especially when it’s cold or raining! She has lived and played with male and female dogs of different ages and sizes.  In her forever home, she needs a big dog that will play with her on a regular basis.

This silly girl loves taking all of her toys out of the toy bin and rolling around on the floor with them!

She is house trained, crate trained, and rides fine in a car.  She is working on her leash training and just needs a little more practice before she’s a pro.

With proper training, Winnie may do well as a type of therapy dog as she is just so sweet and gentle.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
