OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors.  https://youtu.be/3aoG4Ia_9P0

Meet Marsha!  Her full name is “Marshmallow.”  This docile girl was born around December 2018 and currently sports her youthful figure at 73 pounds.  When she is fully grown in another few months, her ideal weight will probably be around 80 pounds.

Her full name fits her perfectly, because she is soft, sweet, fluffy, and sticks to you!  She wants nothing more than to follow her humans around and get pets, love, and cuddles.

She leans into you to get as close as possible.  She lays her head on your lap and snuggles into you.  If you aren’t giving her enough attention, she nudges her head under your hand.  When she is more insistent for petting, she makes a lot of cute grumble noises that sounds like she is mooing, earning the nickname Marsha Cow!

Marsha is very gentle, calm, and well-behaved.  She does not get overly excited about anything, so she seems like a mature dog.  She is especially great with children, enjoying when they read to her and falling asleep in their company.  When she sleeps, she typically shows her belly and has at least two legs in the air.

She gets along really well with other dogs.  She seems to play more with smaller to medium-sized puppies, but is friendly with large male and female dogs as well.  She needs a doggy companion in her forever home; if you don’t already have one of those, adopt one from us!

Marshmallow is house trained and rides nicely in a car.  She is working on her leash training and will probably be really easy on leash.  So far, she has been quiet, only barking sometimes outside.

She wishes for a home where she gets lots of time with her humans who give her lots of cuddles!

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
