OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors.  https://youtu.be/3aoG4Ia_9P0

Meet Rock!  As in Rock Hudson or The Rock Johnson!  He is handsome and smart as a whip!  Born around March 2019, he is on the smaller side, and will likely weigh around 75 pounds when fully grown.

This extremely loving pup loves being right next to you, enjoying scratches behind his ears and on his belly.  He has a great Elvis sneer/smile and gazes lovingly at you with his big, sweet, brown eyes to ask, "What are we going to do?"

Rock is an eager, fast learner who really wants to please you.  He responds quickly to positive reinforcement and consistency.  In his first two months in foster care, he was house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and trained to sit, down, stop, in, and out!

He loves exuberantly zooming around the yard with his doggie friends.  When he comes back in the house, he sits on an awaiting towel so you can wipe his feet!

Delightful Rock is very playful and enjoys his many chew toys and being around his doggy pack.  He loves having dog buddies for companionship and play.  In his forever home, he must have a big, playful canine friend.  If you don’t already have one, adopt one from us!

Silly Rock might be a water dog!  While drinking from his large, outside water bowl, he steps in with both feet.

Rock is great with children.  Because of his exuberance, kids in the home should be older than about nine years of age, so they aren’t prone to getting accidentally bowled over.

He is leash trained and enjoys long walks and runs.  He rides quietly and peacefully in a car and loves traveling to new adventures.  He is house trained and crate trained.

Rock hopes for an affectionate forever family that will love on him, take him places, let him meet lots of new people, and embrace him as an integral part of their lives.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
