Meet April Mae!  This petite girl was born around August 2016.  Fully grown, she is healthy at 70 pounds.

She is such a happy girl, and she gives the best hugs ever!  She really loves people and wants to be everyone’s best friend.  She snuggles to you as closely as possible, and loves sitting in your lap!

She loves to play, play, play!  She loves wrestling and running through the yard with other dogs.  She gets along nicely with male and female dogs of all sizes.  She would love to have a big, playful doggy companion in her forever home.  If there are no other dogs in the house, her family should be very active, include her in most of the action, and allow her to spend most of her time with them.

When not playing with dogs or toys, she enjoys curling into a cozy lounge chair or stretching out on cool tile.

April Mae is house trained, pet-door trained, leash trained, crate trained, and rides quite nicely in a car.

If there are cats in the house, she needs a slow, carefully orchestrated introduction to learn that they are welcome members of the family.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
