     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Meet Fern!  Watch her video!  https://youtu.be/CCMiSmFcTZI

This wonderful little puppy was born in early June 2019. She has a small frame and weighed around 20-25 pounds at three months of age. She will likely be around 50-60 pounds when she’s fully grown.

Fern is mild-mannered, sweet, submissive, and affectionate! She is a leaner and adores people. She will lay her head on you and look at you with those big brown eyes that say “I love you.” She is also very gentle with children.

She needs a playful doggy companion in her forever home. A canine buddy will help her continue developing confidence and good manners. If you don’t already have a playmate for her, adopt one from us!

Beautiful baby Fern loves playing with male and female dogs of all sizes, and she plays very gently with small breed dogs. She is always swinging her long legs around. Sometimes she looks like a horse pawing at the air!

She is even nice to housecats!

Fern is very playful in a sweet, dainty, silly way. She loves having all kinds of toys to toss and chew. When she gets really excited, she zooms around the house and yard as fast as she can!

She has done very well with crate training and has never had an accident in the house. She sleeps in her crate at night and when her foster family is at work. As a puppy going to a new home, she may need extra supervision in the beginning as she adjusts to her new schedule.

She is getting used to walking on a leash - she is a bit shy right now, and needs gentle coaxing. She rides nicely in a car. When outside, she loves barking to warn of things outside the fence. When inside, she is quiet unless play-barking with her fur-buddies.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
