Meet Teddy Bear! He is a sweet old gent looking for love. This handsome champagne fellow was born about July 2011, and is loving as can be!
Teddy Bear was found as a stray in rough shape. He’s a big guy, weighing about 125 pounds, and has one speed: slow.
He loves getting pets and scratches, and will push against you and block your path so you won’t stop giving him attention. His foster mom has only heard him bark once, so he’s not really the guard dog type, but his mere presence can deter someone who doesn’t know his personality. He definitely prefers indoors to outdoors.
In his foster home, Teddy Bear resides with dogs of all sizes and ages and gets along with all of them most of the time. He hasn’t been cat tested, but his foster mom doesn’t think he could be bothered to harass a cat.
Teddy Bear does well on a leash, though sometimes a little stubborn, and rides well in a car, but he needs assistance getting in it.
He’d love a nice quiet home to live out his days with a soft bed and lots of attention!
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
