Meet Amber!  Born on August 3, 2013, this loveable Great Pyrenees is a great companion to have in your home!  She’s great around small children (toddlers and babies) and wouldn’t hurt a fly.

Amber has a wonderful personality, and she has the perfect balance between her playfulness and laziness. She can play for hours and cuddle for hours.  When she wants attention, she’ll either lay her big head in your lap or shake your hand with her giant paws!

She loves to go on runs and tends to chase the little squirrels and rabbits along the way if you walk slowly with her.  After some patience, however, she’ll be walking on the leash like a champ!

She would be best as an inside dog, but she loves to run and play in the backyard!

She knows sit, lie down, stay, and she gets really excited when you call her “baby.”

This gentle giant loves belly rubs and scratches behind her ears. She does this thing where she crawls between your legs when she’s comfortable with you, and it’s the cutest thing ever!

Amber is potty-trained and crate-trained.  All you have to do is say “cage” and she goes right in. She prefers to sleep in her cage. She’s pretty independent and can stay home alone in her cage while you’re at work or school.  Just be prepared to have her greet you when you come home!

She loves to keep her white coat clean, and loves to be brushed, so please be sure to brush her every night!

She’s definitely a people pleaser, so Amber will love whoever takes her in!
