Meet Coco! This tall, handsome, irresistible boy was born around November 2017. He is Pyrfectly proportioned at about 95 pounds. Just look at that fuzzy head! When the rest of his fur grows out, he will be even more stunning!
Need a coffee buddy? Need a yard helper? Coco is your boy! He loves to be nearby, watching over you and your family. He loves to be petted and will just sit by you and let you pet him all day. He is very serene, just calmly accepting your attention when you want to give it.
He just loves people! He is friendly and welcoming to new people and wags his tail eagerly. He is very even keel, politely waiting for them to approach him. He is great with children.
He is good with other dogs, instantly getting along with the four in his foster home. His playmates should be large enough to play with him safely. He is happy rough-housing with male and female dogs. He could be fine as an only dog if his people are home a lot.
He loves to be brushed. In non-Pyr fashion, he loves to be bathed and allows you trim his nails! He is one of the easiest Pyrenees to groom.
The only time you might see him acting silly is when it’s raining outside! He gleefully runs in it, happily trouncing through puddles!
Most of the time, he displays his very dignified Pyr personality. He is pretty oblivious toys, though he does enjoy chew bones. He mostly enjoys chilling out and being petted.
He only barks occasionally, and when he does, it is a deep, impressive, baritone sound. You will always know when someone is walking up to the house.
Coco wants to please his people, and he responds quickly to gentle commands.
He is house trained. He has no need for a crate, because he really likes to be out with people and dogs, he can be fully trusted when left alone in the house, and he is a quiet sleeper.
He walks well on leash. Adorably, he gets really excited when he sees a bird, and he begrudgingly accepts that he is not allowed to chase then while on walks.
He rides peacefully in a car, getting in and out easily as well.
We don’t know how he is with cats, but judging by his chill attitude, we think he would be fine with them in the house.
