OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:

    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors.  https://youtu.be/3aoG4Ia_9P0

Meet Mari-Anne!  This stunning beauty was born around August 2018.  She’ll be a full-sized girl around 80 pounds when she’s all grown up.

When she first came into rescue, her foster mom noticed that Mari-Anne wasn’t able to drink properly.  When the veterinarian examined her, he found that she had a hole in the roof of her mouth!  The hole went straight to her nasal passages!  No wonder she was sneezy and drinking strangely!

The vet said the hole was probably created by something Mari-Anne ate or chewed sometime before we got her.  So, one very expensive surgery and several weeks of healing later, she is completely healthy with no remaining injury.

Mari-Anne needs a playmate that is young enough for her to run and play with. She is an avid squirrel and rabbit chaser, and loves to grab the back legs of whomever she is playing with.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
