OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.
Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors.

Meet Maisy! Born around December 2018, this big, sweet baby is 45 pounds, and will grow to about 80 pounds as an adult.
Maisy is sensitive, and she needs a calm home. This loving girl adores climbing in your lap to be held like a baby! She is a great couch buddy, always looking for a spot as close to you as possible. She loves to lie at your feet and get belly rubs. Her favorite place to be is as close to you as possible!
She is good with children. We recommend that kids in the house be nine years or older, so she won’t accidentally knock them over when she’s playing.
She still has her playful puppy energy and loves zooming through the yard with her dog buddies. She needs to be paired with a new fluffy forever canine that is energetic enough and big enough to play with her.
She joyfully chews toys, picking them up and gleefully taking them outside like she’s won a prize!
She is leash trained and relishes meeting new people during walks. She is so delightful that everyone comments on how sweet she is.
Maisy is house trained, pet-door trained, and rides quietly and contentedly in a car. She sleeps happily in a crate at night and for a couple of hours a day.
She is nice to house cats and house bunnies! She is usually quiet, unless she needs to bark at something suspicious. She is even patient getting a bath outside!
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
