OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy. 3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly. 4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. Meet Estrella! Born around July 2018, she will probably be around 80 pounds when she finishes growing.
She is a total sweetheart! For such a youngster, she is very calm and serene, like an old soul. She just wants to be held, petted, and loved. She uses her instinctive “Pyr paw” to ask you to keep petting her belly!
If you are looking for a dog to love and snuggle with, Estrella is the one. She will follow you around until you stop, so she can lay on your feet to get loved. She is great with kids, too.
Being new to rescue, she is still a little reserved, but is starting to be brave and show her playful side.
She is used to having another dog in the house, and needs a forever doggy companion in her new home. She gets along easily with other dogs and finds security in their companionship.
We haven’t seen her around cats, but we think she would be fine with them in the house, because she is so laid-back.
This beauty is house trained, and she is very quiet while in a crate. She is good on leash and getting better every day. She is a slow, chill walker. She is still getting used to car rides.
Whichever forever home she goes to, they will be hitting the dog lottery. She is going to make her new family very happy!
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
