Meet Jaime! This very social boy was born around February 2017. He is Pyrfect at 92 pounds.

He just loves meeting new people, walking right up to them to greet them.

He can be a goof! When he runs to play, he looks like he’s turning into a donut - turning circles as he goes. He will run for thirty feet and stop because he is done with that. He loves playing with stuffy toys, ripping them apart with glee.

He does a lot of play-bowing and initiating play with other dogs. He gets a kick out of playing tug with them. He needs a playful doggy companion in his forever home – any size canine will do, male or female.

When relaxing, Jaime lays outside for hours in the sunshine whether he is on cold ground, warm wet ground, or the porch.

Jaime is house trained. Being new to rescue, he is still working on leash training; he just needs a little more practice before he understands the joy of following along. He is definitely not a fan of a crate. He ignores a five-foot fence, happily staying in his yard.

Riding in a car, he paces to see what’s in front, what’s in back, then he paws your shoulder for attention.

He is a vocal boy seeming to take responsibility as the alert system for the household. He wants to warn you about any potential threat, even if it’s a cat crossing the front yard.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
