Meet Leo! This precious boy was around January 2015. He is Pyrfectly proportioned, weighing around 90 pounds. He seems to have a hint of Irish Wolfhound in his very distant heritage, because he sports the cutest white wisps of beard and mustache!
He is so sweet and wonderful. He loves everyone! He loves to cuddle and bury his head into you and all of your friends! He could probably be loved on all day long and be very happy!
Leo gets along nicely with other dogs after a proper introduction. He can live with other dogs in the house, or he can be an only dog if his humans are home a lot to keep him company.
He is leash trained and enjoys long walks. He ignores other dogs when he is out with you enjoying the neighborhood.
He is house trained, knows basic commands, and is willing to stay or wait before eating. He’s not crazy about a crate, but with a high-value treat, he’ll go in - after giving you an eye roll! He is generally quiet, rarely barking.
Leo is very easy to have around, giving you valuable, loyal camaraderie.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
