Meet Callie!  Born around January 2018, she is slender at 70 pounds.  She’ll probably gain another five or so pounds as she finishes filling out.

 

This beauty queen is a sweetheart and a major cuddler.  She loves endless attention.  If you are sitting down in a chair or lying in bed, she might put her front paws on you or even climb onto your lap!   If you don’t give her the attention she wants, she finds something of yours and takes it outside!  A shoe, a sock, a pillow.  She doesn’t chew it up, just takes it to show her disappointment.

 

With humans, she has a beautiful, sweet, calm, easy-going, loving temperament and just wants to cuddle.  She is perfectly happy to be next to you all day.  She is also great with children.

 

Callie loves being with other dogs, playing chase, romping, and wrestling.

 

She is very sweet with the house bunnies, so we think she would be equally nice to house cats.

 

She is house trained and leash trained.  She does great in a car. She is crate trained; since she has no real need for it, she isn’t used to being in crate for extended periods.

 

She is not much of a barker, only vocalizing sometimes when she’s outside and sees people and dogs walking past.  She does fine with the four-foot fence at her foster home.  She is comfortable walking into the shallow edge of a pool to drink.

 

Callie is a sweet, gentle princess who needs someone to dote on her and give her the love and attention she craves.
