OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors.  https://youtu.be/3aoG4Ia_9P0

Meet Norie!  This little Energizer Bunny was born around October 2018.  She’s petite for a Pyrenees and has a stocky, solid build with fur as soft as a bunny!  She will likely weigh about 60 pounds when she’s all grown up.

She is eternally optimistic.  Her motto seems to be, “Nothing ventured, nothing gained!”  She’s alert, active, and is the go-getter of the puppy world.  She is a feisty one!  Nothing phases her.

Norie needs an active family that is ready to go and do things with her.  She needs a strong human leader – one that won’t let her walk her little paws all over them.

She will steal your heart!  She loves people.  She gives the best puppy snuggles and kisses - but they don' t last long enough, because she has places to go!   She is too busy playing and exploring to stay in one place very long.

When she is up for the day, she goes non-stop.  She plays at 100 miles an hour, zooming around the yard and jumping at her doggy friends.  And she loves water – she attacks running sprinklers and water hoses!

Her forever home should have at least one active furry playmate.  Her buddy should be ready to play!  Any tolerant canine will do!   She wants to play with any sized dog that will play with her. In her foster home, she even tries to engage the grouchy dog by licking him on the face!

When she is finally tired, she adorably falls asleep wherever she is.

On car rides, she is inquisitive and wants to check out everything in the car.  It’s best to put her in a crate while she’s riding along, otherwise she’ll be under your feet, behind your neck, or in your lap!  After she is finished her investigations, she falls fast asleep.

Baby Norie is house trained with a doggy door, is leash trained and crate trained.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
